Advertising for People Who Don't Like Advertising

KesselsKramer likes making books. Angela and Dave like writing and designing books. One of the most well-known is Advertising for People Who Don’t Like Advertising, named after one of the agency’s core beliefs: that the industry doesn’t have to be manipulative, fake or soulless.

The book, published by Booth Clibborn, is part manifesto, part how-to guide, a rallying cry for honesty, irreverence, cultural awareness, and creative risk-taking, containing interviews with agency leaders, artists, marketers and skeptics.

Somebody on Amazon said, “I love this book to bits. I read it three times.” Somebody else said, “I’m still not sure what this is about.” The jury, clearly, is still out.
