MUSEUM OF LONDON

Museum of London

A Musuem for Londoners.

The Museum of London is moving to West Smithfield, right at the city’s intersection, where different cultures, communities, and stories crossover.

We helped reposition the museum as the Museum of Londoners, not only of dusty artefacts. A place that reflects the city in all its diversity, and belongs to everyone who lives in, or visits, the capital.

The identity evolved from the existing brand to be public-facing, spanning murals and community campaigns. One welcomed Waltham Forest’s newest residents – babies – through photos of expectant mothers from Whipps Cross Hospital during London’s first Borough of Culture. Another celebrated Brent via the UEFA Women’s Euro cup, featuring local young footballers. Ultimately, the campaigns helped secure funding from stakeholders and the Mayor of London’s office to build the museum near Smithfield Market.

The new Museum of London is due to open in 2026, and we are 98% confident that we did our bit to make it happen.
